Factory Made

Factory Made: Warhol and the Sixties is a research by Dr. Steven Watson, published at Pantheon Books, New York. It is an intrinsic look at Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory where from 1964 until 1968 an avantgarde-group came together: artists, poets, musicians, filmmakers, drag queens, society figures and fashion models. Watson follows the sociogram of this Warholian world in his book and by video interviews, focusing on lives and histories of people like for example Joe Dallesandro, who became a “pansexual icon in a time of changing sexual styles”.
